Happy New Year! Well, this the last update to Celadon City
for the millennium. Sometime In January I should have almost
everything running.
Burger King Voluntarily Recalls
More Than 25 Million Pokémon Balls: Miami, Florida-based
Burger King Corporation is recalling millions of the 2-3/4 and
3" hollow plastic Poké Balls (that pull apart with
Pokémon toys inside), distributed with Kids Club Meals
after half of one ball reportedly suffocated a 13-month old baby
girl in California. A second incident occurred when half of another
ball briefly stuck on an 18-month-old's face. The older child
was not injured (her father removed the ball-half), and the cause
of death of the 13-month-old is still under investigation. "If
you have children under 3 in the household, we urge parents to
discard or destroy the balls,'' Burger King spokeswoman Kimberly
Miller said. "If the balls are returned to a Burger King
restaurant, customers will receive a small order of french fries,"
she said. Miller also added that public notices of the recall
will be posted at Burger Kings' 8,000 U.S. locations and will
be advertised in USA Today. The Pokémon promotion will
proceed through January 2 and stores will continue to distribute
the toys along with the Poké Ball container with its Big
Kids Club Meals (which are marketed for older children), however
Kids Club Meals will be dispersed only with the toys (the Poké
Balls will be removed by the fast food chain). The Poké
Balls were tested by an independent laboratory and met or exceeded
federal safety guidelines.

Pokemon the 2nd Movie: The
second Pokemon Movie, Revelation Lugia, is set to come out in
the US on July 21st, 2000. I am working on making a section for
it, look for it to be finished around January or February.

No more Gameboy Color?: Wondering
why you cant find Game Boy Colors or Pokemon Yellow Bundle Packs?
Sadly, Game Boy Color is no more(gasp!). It seems that
the factory in Taiwan burned down! Hopefully, Nintendo is going
get a new factory out soon!
Updates: Sorry for not updating
much, but I have finished almost every single section of the
site! Only some of the stuff is not finished yet.

Pikachu Genki Dechu to come to USA: Yep, Pikachu Genki Dechu is going to come out
sometime next year or later, because the game has to be changed
to recognize English, so it may be awhile. What? You don't what
Pikachu Genki Dechu is? Its a N64 game where you can talk to
Pikachu, click

Updates: There is a Gold and Silver
section up with 20 Pictures and a Gold and Silver Pokedex, complete
with Pictures! Right now I'm working on the Celadon City Gym
and the Pokemon Stadium sections.
